The quality of stand up grappling across the board is rubbish. A lot of people who train think otherwise but when you come from watching freestyle, Greco, or folkstyle to this, it’s hard to watch. It’s understandable though but it’s the confidence in the stand up area in some of the gyms that gets me. Aussies aren’t particularly known as well for their standup wrestling prowess
