No one saw this coming at the time. It's a shame that the competition scene has petered out compared to back then. In the past we had rodolfo, buchecha, Roger, lepri, malfucini, marcelo, braulio, mendes brothers etc. Now we only have a handfull of standout names.

@adamabbas14872 жыл бұрын
@@SanderZurhake I think the problem is that in the past, there were more big high level tournaments where all the big names would join with stacked divisions. Now there are more one vs one matches that aren't in a tournament format, so you don't get to see as many matches where the big names all compete. The only thing left is the adcc but it's once every two years.
@charlesr9512 жыл бұрын
@@adamabbas1487 I think your right. It has a lot to do with how the payouts work now. In the past people relied on making there names to sell instructional and seminars. Since they get paid much more for competing it's more scheduled around matches with only a couple of big tournaments.

Those leg locks from Craig should be illegal. If Leandro wasn't do sharp as a Brazilian fight usually is, this dude would definitely end his career or at least cause some hard to recover type of injury. And idn why they do that. They go with bad intentions. Americans training jiu-jitsu is nasty. They don't get sharp because of that. Injuries after injuries training with their partners trying to kill each other instead of keep it playful.
