What i admire the most about Gordon is his calm and collected way of submitting his opponents. I didnt see the desperate attempt to rip his opponents arm to submission i see everyone else do. We're looking at something truly special thats seen only once in a lifetime! Congratulations Champ!

Having longer matches like that can be a really good asset to add on top of your strategies. Fight knowing you have 30 minutes gives you a breathing room to seek small gains, like the pressure with the head hook. Seems like a small deal but over time, can drain pretty much your energy and slowly cause you to make poor decisions. . Both are beasts tho! 🔥

Did anyone else catch the Mistake with the Tale of the Tape (2:50 mark) ? The heights are mixed up. Lists Ryan as 5'11" and Gaudio as 6'2" which is wrong. Gordan is the much taller and is 6'2". Of course great match and great ambassador to the sport Ryan is. 🤘😎

The armbar setup was at an interesting angle. He was almost pwrpendicular when he went for the kimura but still was trapping the right arm with his right leg reinforced by his left leg. There was just no space for Gaudio to escape at 17:30 before Gordon passed the leg over the head. That's worth studying.

Gaudio's lack of confidence was on display in many moments before and during the match. It's got to be humbling to see what Gordon did to Galvao--an absolute monster--and then know that you have to do about 10 times better than he did to have a chance. Wow.

A lot of poeple are saying he's juicing that's why he's good, but almost all his opponents is juiced up too, what he showed here is pure control, man handling a beast like Gaudio is not an easy feat, juice or no juice.
