Epic Family Road Trip S6•EP15/// In this week’s episode of The Epic Family Road Trip, we hit the trail on Vancouver island with some EPIC local Jeeping KZbinrs, Shaun from @The Story Till Now , Casey from the channel @Casey250, Eli aka @Loki Entertainment, and our local guide, Chad! @Wetcoastwheeling In Vancouver Island style it has been raining constantly for days leading up to this trail which meant there were lots of gushing waterfalls, creeks, a big river crossing and fallen trees on the trail.
We filmed this just before Christmas and had planned to upload this video sooner. Unfortunately we suffered some serious technical difficulties and had to re-edit this episode. But now that it’s finally up, we hope you all enjoy and stay tuned for part 2 coming to our channel next Sunday!

Thanks for the reminder why I don't live on the Island anymore. RAIN! ;) Grew up in Port Alberni and lived just South of Nahmint Lake (Kildonan) in the early '80s. No roads back there then except where logging operations were and logs were floated out. We would go by boat up Henderson Lake quite often taking the creek up. Thanks for the memories of seeing all that wilderness again.

Could you have lowered the tire pressure some more for clearance? Oh well, you did it at 11:53. Reminds me of the British bus under the bridge tale and engineers put their heads together to find a solution. An eight year old student walked by and said, "Why don't you let air out of the tyres!" Wow, Shaun's Gladiator is absolutely gorgeous! OMG! When Vandi nearly flipped at 17:08 I jumped out of my chair. Whew! That was close! What?! I have to wait a week for Part 2...oh well, it'll be worth the wait. It looks like you'll need Moses to be able to cross that river :) I hope Shaun makes it across.

Peter I think Pete Jr planned that out! Epic flex and driving Peter Jr!!!!!! Great idea Dan! When ya can't raise the obstacle ya have to lower the load. Jerry Read did that in the moving High Balling with a semi hauling cars. Lando wasn't too sure his 4 leg drive could cross that river. Can't wait for the next episode! Happy New Year!

You have those awesome FrontRunner racks - you need to add the quick release roof top tent mounts. Could have taken the tent off in 2-3 minutes, drove the jeeps under the tree, and put the tent(s) back on. Love all the vids, keep them coming - you guys rock!!
