Kalpak suits you Note, you look like a Kyrgyz Jigit! 😊 And I’m sure many people think you two are locals 😊 “Жигит (Jigit)” in English can be translated as “young man” or “brave man.” It’s a term often used in Kyrgyz and other Turkic languages to refer to a young, courageous man, sometimes with connotations of being a gentleman or someone with a strong moral character.

This is very special. Years ago I saw a movie about a girl breaking the father to son tradition of learning to hunt with the Golden Eagles. Well worth watching and it came back to mind when I saw this vlog. "The Eagle Huntress" (2016) Aisholpan, a 13-year-old from a nomadic Mongolian family of Kazakh descent.
