There aren't any government programs to pay for that and it would probably be considered an "improvement" that he'd have to pay taxes on. He's living in that airplane to avoid paying taxes. Period. And to hopefully cash in when some government-subsidized "historical preservation" group is looking for an intact 727 to restore.

I think the basis of using discarded aircrafts for homes is not really viable, but I love this man's enthusiasm for reusing perfectly good parts that would otherwise go to waste. Repurposing these pieces in a way that doesn't require a multi-truck towing team, etc, would be a great thing to see. However, I love to see unique homes and people passionate about their lives. Your videos are, if possible, getting better by the week. Keep up the amazing work

Had seen this plane & Bruce some time ago. I marvel on all he has accomplished. Knowing from restoring 7 of my personal homes & lands they each were on, is very time consuming. My professional life I never rented. I would find a great, old historical home & buy & move into. Every possible hour or day or night not on duty, would be restoring. I was able to completely restore each home over many years before my professional life took me to another assignment location. Everyone must realize, restoration is a time consuming event. To restore a commerical jet liner is not something I would ever tackle in life. For Bruce he had a real desire & he is a work in progress in his journey he is living. Hats off to Bruce. Everyone at some point in living has a vision of what they would like to accomplish. Not everyone goes beyound. While others step out of their comfort zone & dive into their vision in real time. This becomes the comfort zone.

Living/repurposing planes as homes is really cool idea. Sure, they're huge, but they're probably a great idea in places prone to earthquakes. I'd be super interested to see someone fully (esthetically and architecturally) convert one of these planes. I wish Dylan/editor hadn't included the footage of his shoe/germ fixation. It made him seem more odd right out of the gate.

MaxPro Oh yeah, but is not about being succinct or eloquent. He was being preachy, with this attitude about stepping on, entering with "dirty shoes" in what basically looks and acts like a cluttered, storage room with a hastily-made shower that belongs in a homeless camp. It would have been fine if everything was tidy clean and pleasant inside, but it wasn't. Also "death camp" and "executions", airplane rights activism #AirplaneLivesMatter 👌🏻
