My son told me about hearing this song on the last day of a job we both worked at and equally hated. He had survived a suicide attempt and was recovering nicely, getting into his car as the sun was just starting to set across a warm New England sky. He’s now grown into a fine adult at a career he loves, and I feel like this song started it all off.

Concert equipments are pretty costly & not everytime are they set up to be rain proof. I don't think many performers mind singing in rain. It's the organizers who don't want to fuck up costly equipments.
