I only discovered you maybe a week or two ago, but I love that I can watch one of your videos without narration and recognize what you are doing and why you are doing it because of how detailed your narration usually is. Have never done pottery before but I now know why you wax certain parts of your pots, why you start the kiln with the door open, that you’re charting the temp and conditions of the kiln as you fire, etc. Thank you for sharing your work!

The handwriting alone is mesmerizing

In the quiet moments when my mind races, I find calm in your hands shaping clay. I’m no potter, but something about the way you create stirs with peculiar patterns is really mesmerizing to watch. Perhaps one day, when the world slows down and my heart is steady, I’ll find myself at the wheel too, molding something beautiful out of the stillness.

Ceramics/anything with clay and sculpting is the best. I love many mediums but ceramics won my heart thanks to year 5 or 6 art classes in school. Now I routinely watch vids like the ones in this channel to just relax and mindfully enjoy the cool process/craftsmanship.

i know the asmr version is just the video without narration, but i still laugh whenever the sped up scenes are kept in and the air/clacks are sped up as well

I want these as my spice jars, and instead of labeling them, I’d just recognize them all by their distinct shapes

That's why people can never follow their grandparents' recipes lol "Ok it says add one dash from the tallest round jar. What the fuck was IN the jar, grandma? Salt, rosemary, heroin?!"

@@frankiemillcarek6976 lmao yeah, the recipe is like “three healthy pinches from the little jar with the lid”.. WHATS A HEALTHY PINCH GRAMS?

I thought the same for my...uh....spice varietals. I grow and breed varietals and the super good ones I keep personal samples of...(cough).
