My 95 ZJ was free. I wouldn't have considered it if it hadn't been is superb cosmetic shape but a blown engine. About 7 grand later it is 100% repaired as opposed to restored. It didn't need restored. It's been chugging all over the west for almost 4 years now. It made a Jeep believer out of me.

95 zj is my favorite year. Has the cooler dashboard and disc brakes!!! And the computer housing is more badass than the later.

Laughed at the "washer fluid coming out of it". Had a GMC Envoy that ran cool but the under hood temps were high enough in hot weather to boil the washer fluid & it came squirting out the washer nozzles!

I'm here for the FC action because I have an FC project I have been meaning to start for the past year and finally getting to it the same time as you! I'm doing a YJ drivetrain swap into a short bed FC, I think it's a 1957, for a friend in exchange for the OG drivetrain parts and some other stuff. I'll be swapping over the YJ springs and axles as well as the 4.2L and auto tranny and transfer case to the FC frame. I'm picking the FC up this weekend and already have the YJ. I thought I was going to have the market cornered on KZbin as far as FC build videos this year, but you beat me to it!

That grass you commented about is Cogan grass which is an invasive grass that was introduced to fight erosion in mined areas. Marion county which is where this was shot has it in the lime rock mines and we have it all over Polk county in the phosphate mines.

Find a military cargo bed for the FC. A lot of them have drop sides on them. An M35A deuce and a half usually have this type.

The first Jeep that I drove was a CJ-6. It is good to see one with an unmodified body. The Cherokee XJ did well climbing the hill because it was the lightest vehicle there (except for the red buggy). The un construction on XJs are extremely strong and light. The FC-150 box is very unique but you could make it yourself out of 16 gauge sheet steel.
