Tomorrow, April 7th, is the 8th anniversary of losing my step daughter to murder by the father of her children. She was pregnant with her 4th child, who died with his Mom. A possible motive could be the mom wasn't watching their son and the 2yo got close to the water and an alligator grabbed him. When the father saw what had happened and knowing she was supposed to be watching their son he flew into rage and attached the mother blaming her for what happened. R.I.P. to the mother and son. I remember going to school and waiting for the bus I'm step dad worked at the apartment complex we lived at. He would tell me all the time stay away from the ponds they have gators. Now I'm 30 and I still can remember seeing gators while waiting for the bus. Sometimes we had to wait closer to the gate because the gators were out of the water. It was an exciting time back then. No one ever died or got bit at least as far as I know.
