Good stuff. You know your profession. According to Judge Garaufus (Eastern District), I’m the first defendant in his federal career to get a hung jury at a trial he’s presided over. As you say, it’s not easy and they keep coming with constructive schemes, along with coercion of juries. They set my retrial for a few days after the mistrial 🤦🏻‍♂️. It is what it is but it’s good that you educate the people. WR.

Trying out to be a c o in ca and Nv. Kind of scary that I can go to work and end up catching a case then be stuck there. The game is meant to be played though. What was the plan for him fighting guys everyday? Seems someone would get hurt or killed quickly. A few fights a week too eventually the other guy would beat you. Then you’d be walking out of the place without any teeth, the administration would definitely know something is going on.

I got the impression that he didn't work in alot of the different correctional institutes as there are over 50 main prisons and then many more annexs, camps, etc. LK are deep mainly in South Florida, but there are more Bloods than anyone else in most of the other main prisons.

Based on what we hear about the going-ons in the Florida prision system, I'm sure it would be easy to get in a habit of smacking around the inmates. Florida has some of the worst behaved inmates in teh country because there are no politics to keep them in line. I'll admit it...if I was a guard, I probably woudl have done the same thing. I have no patience or tolerance for the willingly ignorant. However, as as prison guard, you have to be a patient and professional person. You have to be able to bite your tongue and control yourself. That would be tough for the majority of us in such a disrespectful and wild system.
