Don’t worry about if they’re in danger in that hurricane because they are in the gray circle.

Thank you Weather Channel But it’s important to note hurricanes can hit anywhere from Texas to Florida to Maine. Here in the Northeast we rarely get hurricanes, but when we do like 1938 or Sandy, they can be devastating. We need to all watch the forecast this year as every year we do :D

While hurricanes are common in Florida, lightning is much more common. Hurricanes don't happen on the near daily basis in the summer, but lightning does. I don't agree that climate change is making them worse. Florida has had a long history of hurricanes. It's also important to remember that the deadliest hurricane didn't make landfall in Florida, but it Texas. Rapid Intensification occurred with Andrew, Charley, Michael and Ian. It also occurred with Opal in 1995, but Opal weakened just before making landfall, whereas those other 4 struck with full strength. But, I hope Florida won't be hit this year. SW Florida is very special to me and I am still angry and heartbroken at the devastation Ian caused. There was a 4 year gap in between Michael and Ian, Michael, the previous storm of similar strength to affect the state. Hopefully the steering currents will be set up to move them away from the state, or strong shear will offset the warm water temps.

Ya'll do realize all that's needed to prevent something like the Wildfires in an area like Hawaii is to build a spray jet system that shoots the water at an angled altitude directly from the sea over the land. Either that or straight up make an irrigation canopy that essentially open domes the island of Hawaii where there's cause for concern then soaks it from above. The impact of the saline content on plant life might be worthy of concern but there's a remedy for that I'm sure...

I don't believe anything these clowns have to say, for instance, right now they are saying it's sunny and clear where I live Wrong! It's very cloudy and has been all night. They can't even give an accurate forecast same day, let alone any time in the future
