At 14:40 Pay attention to the PFC third squad. 2nd man next to squad leader. Is he photo shopped in be cause he screwed everything up from return bayonet, timing was off, hand placement off etc.

I noticed that too! Looks like the PFC didn't execute a move properly, got confused, and it threw everything else off. Good thing it was close to the end of the performance. You know the rest of them said: "Ok, I heard one bolt close and it was WAAAAYYY off....who was it"?!? I wouldn't want to be that guy....especially a _private first class_ .

It looks like he failed to secure his bayonet and he's holding it in place with his left elbow. You can see his left hand is out of position when he returns to attention. Prior to that he looked fine. What ever he did, he covered it well. It would have been hell if the bayonet had hit the deck.

Not a single command spoken. Practice perfect. I know, I was stationed at 8th and I. Those rifles are not light. M-1 carbines. After a few hours you start to feel like Popeye. Lol. Good times !!

Most of them have served in combat before joining the ceremonial drill teams. I do not know if it is a requirement, but it is normal for the members of the drill team to have combat experience.

Totally incorrect sir. If you look, most are PFC or LCpl with only 1 or 2 service medals. 8th and I recruit these Marines directly from SOI graduation. They will post 8th and I for 1-2 years, then proceed to an infantry unit.
