@@distantraveller9876 God exists. Whether you believe that or not is on you. However, you are completely and entirely correct: He’s not out here picking people to die just because “He wants them”. How to people not realize that’s entirely contrary to who He is and what he teaches in the Bible?? The fact that you have more common sense than most is ver commendable and I applaud you for that. I find it infuriating and insulting when people say children die because God “needed another angel in heaven”. Like, no, He didn’t… if that were the case, He’d simply create another one. He has no need in taking away the child He gifted you with 😤… stop picturing God in such a negative light. Ugh. When you’re wealthy and can give your kids a dream life, dream house, dream yard with beautiful horses…oh yes, people tend to want to live when they’re surrounded by such wonderful things. Try growing up in a housing project and see how much ambition you have to go outside. See how many opportunities you’ll have to work with horses or animals. I rode horses my entire childhood and showed also. I was working with a horse that was my trainers and we built such a loving bond. Unfortunately one day as I was working with my trainers horse she became startled and reared up and lost balance into a wall. She broke boards and bent the metal and came out the other side of exterior wall. I was lucky that my mom had taught me emergency dismount and was able to get out partially but sprained my arm pretty good. My horse became injured and I was unable to ride her again. It is so true that no matter how trusting and “bomb proof” a horse is they can still have moods or be startled and that is all it takes. I was absolutely terrified to ride and absolutely devastated to not be able to ride Vicki(my trainers horse) ever again. I ended up getting another horse and pushed through the fear of riding. My Polish Arabian healed me. She was so sweet and kind. She became my therapy. Especially through my turbulent teenage years. I am so sorry for this family and losing a child so young but I think it’s amazing the message they want to carry for their daughter. Riding is dangerous and anyone that does it knows but the bond and love for it over powers everything.

I'm a nurse and one time our patient was a 24yo woman....in the past she did horse riding until she was 17, then bedridden because she lost balance while riding and fell to the ground then the scared horse kicked her head. Poor girl survived with permanent brain damage, a huge dent on her forehead and was totally disabled physically and mentally.....god didn't want her yet but also took everything from her....i would never let my kids near a horse since

I honestly don't know how this mom is talking so calmly about the death of her daughter. At first, I thought she was just a friend or neighbor

When I was young I fell off and it was touch and go for quite a while. I lived, obviously, but it led me to have a strong belief that it just wasn't my time to die... i believe in this, when it's your time - god takes you. My condolences to you on the loss of your precious girl. Just always remember that you allowed her to have the horses in her life, thus she lived w joy and happiness every day because you granted her the horses. It's a grey loveless existence to not have that path to your passion open. Again, my condolences on your loss.

Exactly. I thought perhaps her daughter died 15-20 years ago or something….no it was in February. Very cavalier and bizarre. Perhaps she’s medicated for TV, some meds make people less emotional

When you experience a tragedy that you just can't handle, sometimes you don't feel it for a long time. The mind and body has a weird way of working to protect us. As time passes, the feelings start to come back slowly as though your body and mind are easing you into the grief.

She made a lot of religious comments so my guess is she has a strong faith in God and people like that tend to not see death as a bad thing, it’s just them being reunited with God.
