Hi! Was doing dishes while I watched,lol. So wasn’t chatty. But am now stitching and had to say I love cottage garden samplings, have a lot of the bird ones and that Christmas one, a bunny one as well. Lol omg! I can sY this cos I’m old! Sarah you made me laugh! I am 66 and will not say l am old, not yet! We are in the midst big snowstorm, so going nowhere tomorrow. Thanks for another great visit dwar friend.❤❤

Vince is so adorable, and your blanket is beautiful. I’m glad his parents are keeping his hands warm and protected for when he’s ready to cross stitch. I’m concerned about your dangling threads. If you start calling them “working threads,” I sure hope you’re paying them minimum wage, or you may have a strike on your hands, and then where would you be. You’d have to go back to earring making. As always, it’s a joy to spend time with you, Sarah. Your kind heart and generous spirit comes through my screen and I’m always left feeling lifted by spending time with you. I had two days last weekend with my 10 year old granddaughter and couldn’t get her to put a needle in her hand, so Vince may be my only salvation to pass along my love of cross stitch. I am trying to work a little in the morning and the first of the afternoon on completing the Dahlia blanket. The border is six rows but so far it is the perfect addition. I do think you have a point about the “working threads” issue. Last thing I need on my plate is them unionizing because let’s face it, there are so many of them. Thank you for another wonderful floss tube. I know you’ve been to Acorns and Threads in Portland. I am in Salem and only 40 minutes away. I was excited to see Fox and Rabbit will be at the shop April 29th. We had a group of six ladies who loved cross stitch. We would take turns meeting at each others house once a month. We made a couple road trips to Acorns and Threads when it was first opened and owned by Roz Vancil. Our group met each month for 22 years. We are older now. One person has died, one moved to another state and one we don’t hear from anymore. One lady that I talk to regularly has been diagnosed with dementia. She can no longer drive so I am taking her up there with me for a trip out of the house.

Thank you for sharing your projects and finishes. I so admire the progress on your WIPs. I can imagine how wonderful the afghan felt on your lap during the recent frosty weather. Some years I don't crochet much, as I can't stand the heat during most of the year when I am working on even a baby blanket (I have crocheted custom trim for pillow finishes from pearl cotton to match the stitching and a few hats in warm weather). Love this video! Your sharing is great. Gives me more places to look. I saw those very small Prairie Schooler patterns too, probably on SABLE Stitchers. I do enjoy their patterns. Thanks for sharing where you bought them. I love Prairie Schoolers. I remember, is it Sarah Vaughn? Very pretty patterns. Your nails looked very pretty. I am not someone who fusses with nails, and I don’t like when my nails get long. Drives me nuts. I do have, I was told, by my Dr., excema. Always looking for something good for that. Cerave products seem to be useful some. I slather a Vaseline type Cerave on hands and wrists overnight, put gloves on till I wake up and pull them off. Hopefully cream gone by then. Dr did prescribe some long sounding name of cream too. Anyway the nail products look good. Have a great March. Your grandson adorable. Thanks for sharing! ⭐️⭐️🌲🌲🌲

I love your thoughts on the practical use of our cross stitch creations. Putting them on project bags (I have plans for a mandala stitch on a tote bag) makes our art portable😊 Yay Lucy!
