Hi Shellie, I enjoyed your video today and even got misty-eyed along with you when hearing Michelle Antoinette’s story. It was quite special. I lost my Nana Joanna this last year. She was an avid stitcher and the one who taught me how to stitch and now I’ll be always doing it in memory of her. Thank you for sharing the story. I’m glad you are feeling better and have a great Valentine’s Day💕

That is such a beautiful tribute to Nana Stitcher! OMG-you were a finishing fanatic in Jan! Love them all! Loved the proper cuppa tea comment! My one aunt was from England and her parents came and stayed with my parents for a month twice when I was little and Mrs. P always would have a good cuppa when she would sit and knit. I didn’t realize that she was drinking tea I use to think she was drinking something called cuppa. I can remember asking her if she would leave some of her cuppa for my mom because my mom liked her (Mrs P’s) cuppa and I didn’t know where to tell my dad to buy it for my mom. All she did was say she would. Later I found out that she was drinking tea and that’s what she called her cup of tea. You brought back memories for me. Thank you for that.

Hi Shelly. I am so glad you’re here. I would vote for Zooming. That’s so much like really stitching together as friends. Plus we get to meet others in your family of viewers. Doing a live is more of a ‘free for all’ with text messages flying about. It can get very confusing. A live is great if you are teaching a specific skill, but the zoom meeting is so much friendlier.❤❤❤

I loved seeing all of your finishes, they're all so beautiful. Those sweet little frames you chose for your small finishes are so perfect and suit those small pieces so well, such beautiful and timeless treasures. I so enjoyed your maker's moment and loved your reading of the Sunday Letters, and I'm going to go look up that amazing artist and show support for her indeed. I would prefer a KZbin Live rather than any other platform such as a zoom. I just think you can reach more people on a KZbin Live and nobody is left out and it's not such a production for people to join in. You could still call it Circle of Friends and in fact, you could invite several of your stitching friends to come and join you and it perhaps would give some of them an opportunity to experience sharing things on a video. Thank you so much for another wonderful video and for sharing your beautiful work and words of kindness.

I've also been a knitter, crochet artist, and scrapbooker. I've done diamond dots too. And i make greeting cards. I don't have enough time to do all of my crafting because I have to work to pay for all of the lovely stuff! 😅

Oh Shelley, your reading at the beginning really made me pause. And then Michelle Antoinette’s card really pierced my heart. My dear sister has end stage pancreatic cancer and she just asked me put together a project for her…she hasn’t stitched in years but, thought it might help her focus on something other than the pain, physical and emotional. Just sent her a Prairie Schooler Santa chart, linen, threads etc. we both did some of these years ago. Although, I think I’ll also send her “Ann Richardson”, which is our maiden name! I’ve also sent her your flosstube channel…like you, she is a woman of faith and I’m certain will enjoy hearing and seeing you. Thank you so much for today’s flosstube - it was very special for me.❤️
