Happy belated birthday, so glad it was a good day for you🥰. Consider yourself an enabler, I’m halfway finished with Turkey Day but after seeing yours stitched on Cauldron(perfect fabric choice) I’ve already placed an order for it and I’m going to finish and gift the one I’m already working on and restitch one for myself on Cauldron. Such beautiful stitching and chef’s kiss on the fabric you dyed! Can’t wait for your next FlossTube. Happy stitching my stitchy friend!

Hi Laura - With your quilting ability, I think you should turn Summer ABC's into a bell pull - I don't think you have made one before. So that would be different. A bit of thin batting and a nice backing fabric would finish it odd nicely. Maybe a thin cording around it in blue and white. The hardware for the bell pull would be far less costly than framing. The vanity sampler - if we were doing a sampler of our own in this day and age, we would use a more "modern" quote on it so I say go ahead and change the wording. Great idea. Woo-whoo - you're designing. Can hardly wait.

Loved seeing all your beautiful died fabrics. Would love to see a video on how you die them after they are wet and scrunched up on the plate. Did you just pour the other colors on? Maybe you would consider doing a video from start to finish of your technique.

Your ABC seasonal Little House Needleworks pieces could be mounted on foamcore or mat board then attached to a fabric covered foamcore framing piece. Then attach washers to the back. Get a simple framed board of the right size and glue magnets to the inside. Now each season can be swapped into the same framing piece. Such long pieces should probably have 3 washers on the back.

Ooh, if I may come with imput, I really liked your second quote with the Autumn treasures for the Autumn samplers. Love seeing your fabric. But it once again nails to me how I would love to go abroad and visit a "proper" needleworks store and see/buy a bunch of coloured fabric.

You should have a Sampler WIPGO board is 2025. That will give you two samplers to work on each month. Just a thought! 😉

Happy Birthday Laura, (I've already wished you on Instagram I think, but it doesn't harm to send more wishes to someone, does it? 😜). What a nice video! Beautiful finishes, my favorites are "In the Library" and "Mr. Turkey" in its gorgeous and very fitting frame! I really like "Summer ABC'S" too but I am not very fond of its long shape 😍📚🦃🍉 Amazing WIPs, I mean "Fall on the Farm" and "Autumn in Hawk Run Hollow" are just perfect and you dyed a few really gorgeous fabrics 🎨 Also you got some some really beautiful patterns for your birthday 😍 I am looking forward to watch your progress on all those projects and to see your first pattern 😍🧵🪡

Congratulations on your finishes, they are lovely. I loved hearing about your dyeing process, one of these days I’m going to get brave enough to try it! I also really liked your idea of sampler Saturdays, I stitch both seasonal and samplers too and I find that my samplers are taking forever to finish because I’m trying to fit them into a season. 1 week of stitching in only one season makes a sampler take 4 years or more! Maybe taking one and stitching on it every week until it’s done or I’m tired of it would work better.

I also enjoy dying fabric. I’ve done it numerous times and I will do it again in the future. I just love the mixing of the colors and seeing how it turns out. So I flew into Salt Lake on 11 September. My girlfriend and her daughter picked me up and we drove the 7 1/2 miles to Casper Wyoming for the Crazy Woman Retreat, it was a great time. I finished four projects there got to ring the cowbell. Then we came back on Sunday and spent the night at a hotel 2 miles from the airport and flew home Monday morning so I’m sorry I did not get to have time to have a meet up with you maybe we can do it next time.some of the people from my retreat are going to go to Cindy’s on October 5 for a Stiching meet up. Brenda is going to be there. I’m sure you know who she is. And I would love to be there but can’t make it happen.

Happy Birthday, You showed the moonbeam tea chart, which I got right away. I made 2 of them now, did them in DMC, on Storm 20 ct fabric. But I didn't care for the flowers under the grass, so I omitted that, but I felt it needed the title to explain the scene, so I charted the title on the bottom. These are christmas gifts for my boys (men) who love their tea and it's not girly. I like the second poem for your sampler ( not the forest one). I see spiders are just fine for your autumn piece because I've been brushing spider webs down for this last month in my home. They are busy! With your dyeing process, do you find the stitch count change? So you are pouring the dye on the fabric on the plate, not in a bowl? And the microwave is doing the dye setting?
