I'm loving this new camera, especially now that you got in the correction orientation this time. 😊 DMC 816 is a great red. Do you ever use 814? It's probably my favorite dark red. (I use it a lot on Christmas ornaments.) On some fabrics they both look a bit more blue but on other fabrics they just look red. It's fun getting insight into your design process. The final design for Mirabella Border is a huge improvement over your first attempt! Herrschners? Wow! That's amazing! But it also seems like a really good fit for them. They are one of the best places to buy table runner kits, so it'll be great for expanding your audience! Lately they have really been improving the quality of what they carry. For a long time I wasn't seeing much of anything I liked in their catalogs but in the last year or two I've been tempted by more and more of their offerings. But of course I'll still buy your kits directly from you.

I haven't used 814, but it is now on my next order! And, your comments about Herrschners really made my day--when I got my catalog last week I noticed that their quality was improving and I'm excited about being part of that process. Glad you liked the new Mirabella Border--that one's up project-after-next on my stitching schedule and I'm already looking forward to it. Thanks so much for your support!

So glad someone out there finished Penelope's Garden! Seeing it gives me the motivation to finish mine, which is languishing in a basket.

I just discovered you today because I needed a tutorial on how to do a hem stitch for a little sampler just completed. First of all thank you for that clear precise and incredibly easy to understand tutorial. Secondly, your work is just beautiful. I did take a little peek at your website and I wonder if you ship to Canada. Take good care.

At minute 30 you mention swapping out a different color for the white... is there a white fill in the flowers that I can't see from the videos? The Instagram pictures didn't look like there was white on it. Thanks!

I mispoke! So sorry about that! I meant to say swap out the black, not the white. So, you could lighten this design up by changing out the black to a brighter color like blue, green, or gold. Thanks for catching that!
