Yeah. He makes a very slight slip of the tongue at 0:26. Should say arteries go away from the heart. Easily forgiven as these videos are great.

Hi, I am trying to understand the blood flow and blood perfusion terms used in dynamic PET and DCE-MRI literature extensively (interchangeably). I have been talking to some researcher who have suggested that perfusion is the difference in the loss of blood that enters inside the artery and that leave via veins since this difference enters the tissue! Any suggestions. thanks

these arteries do go away from the heart on to the lungs to be oxygenated. The pulmonary veins deliver the blood back to the heart to be distributed systemically. I think the DOCTOR knows what he's talking about.

Paulos Yost just because he is a DOCTOR doesn't mean he doesn't accidentally make mistakes. He will always be a HUMAN first.

Seriously, I stumbled upon this and it's not even worth my time to explain to you how humans make mistakes just like PAULOS YOST disasterously started with no capitalization.

Which equation, I will try to explain to you

So in resistance, it just mean that imagine you have 2 side each side has 2 hole, and on one side the hole is closed, it is like blood or any kind of fluid will flow faster on the other side, which has available of 2 hole. You can try experiment it at home. I use my imagination and I think it will be like I think. For blood flow, it is like how many volume of blood you will get per minute. If you have 2 ml/ min then each min you get 2 ml of blood let say put it in bottle. 10 ml per min then you have 10 ml of blood in bottle each min. and perfusion is divided by amount of gram which i can not explain. but i think we bothjust remember the equation.
