Building on the whole journey and especially the past 5 practices, today we use the vocabulary to find sensations through moments of movement that feel individual to you. We have worked with focus, rigor, softness, kindness and balance to develop a practice for finding FLOW. This session is all about the power of TRUST.
Trust your intuition and keep an open mind. Learn rabbit pose (bunny posture) or maybe fly in crow!
Heads up! Tomorrow’s practice is going to be a little different than the rest. Trust xx

I felt so emotional in that final posture because I just realized how far I've come both in my practice and as a person, and I had a moment of appreciation for my younger self for starting yoga 🩵 even when life feels heavy, I'm so blessed to have this channel and practice as a sure positive each day. O that crow pose really scared me so much. I could not let my feet leave the mat at all. But at least I have found myself a challenge to practice until the first of April where I will try to tag along another 30 days.

I stuck with it and did not miss a day at all! SO PROUD of myself! Now, the ticket is can I still keep up a daily practice come Feb 1??? Probably not! lol

⁠@@jennaromito2582I so recommend it! I’ve just done a year of daily practice. A short practice for me is key - I have no resistance to spending 10, 15, 20 minutes first thing in the morning, in my. PJs. If I leave it later (as I used to) I find reasons not to. So good luck. Kassandra’s 10 minute morning practices are also great for getting and keeping the habit.

wohoo! well done you! I flew for a couple seconds many moons ago but couldn't get it back. Do you have any tips? I think fear is my biggest challenge tbh

I think that it was just a ‘today’s the day’ moment and that Our Leader had put me in the right mindset. A block helped to give that little bit of lift too. Just go for it!

Thanks so much for leading this yoga flow class. I am 74 years old and have practiced yoga for over 50 years, but was stuck in a routine. Now I have opened up new possibilities and feel stronger and more flexible. Much gratitude! 🙏

I have to admit, crow pose is always a bit frustrating for me because I just can't seem to do it right, I always end up bruising my arms. Still so much to learn, although I used to do yoga every day for almost four years... I have to humbly accept this invitation. Looking forward to tomorrow! Day 30 is always so very special. I'm excited for those who haven't experienced it yet! ❤🙏

My dad taught me crow pose 50 years ago (don’t know where his Church of Christ self learned it), he was very flexible. Ten years ago I could still do it but I haven’t been able to do it this week. I’ll hopefully get it back.

No joke, today while I was practicing crow pose I heard a crow in our neighborhood making a laughing sound 😂. Pretty sure they were all talking about me! Congrats to all for making it this far.

I TRUST I will continue after tomorrow. It has been very difficult past week, travelling, going through personal stuff, and starting a new job. Finding time has been challenging. I am going through a very difficult and lonely time. Iam in a huge trauma healing proces. Loosing some friends who I thought would be there for me to support me makes me feel so lonely. I am exhausted, but I still came to my mat everyday. Wasnt always able to follow Adriene, but tried to do exercises that felt good for myself. I am so grateful for this 30 day challenge and all the people who support each other. Thank you for being there. And if you have some love and light left, would you please send some my way? I could use some...

we are all practicing alongside you; thank you for sharing, it connects you to more people than you think! it won’t change how you feel, but sometimes people leave our lives to make room for more authentic/healthy connections. and i like to believe everything happens to teach us something about ourselves, similar to the yoga journey. ride the waves, listen to your breath, and let go of what is no longer serving you to make room for what will! 🙏🏼❤️

Sending you love and light as you navigate this disappointing season. Also experienced this in 2022. My recommendation is make sleep and yoga a priority.Feeling good will help you attract new friends -the right friends.The hurt is real, but you will be better off on the other side.❤️

I am sending you love and light, Janine! I know exactly how lonely and vulnerable one can feel when going through healing, especially feeling alone. But you are never truly alone. When you feel so alone, think of all the people who have truly loved you for who you are. The hardships are very real, but so is healing. For all the pain you are feeling right now, your own light will sooth and heal the wounds you had untended before. You are very brave and strong asking for love. Trust yourself that you are doing the right thing, because you are. Sending you love and light!

I have been doing Yoga with Adrienne now for 5 years inconsistently and one thing I have begun to notice are the small wins. How although I still cannot touch my toes in a standing forward fold, I can successful complete a plank to updog instead of always going to baby cobra. I understand how to breath in certain parts of my back that brings the best into a forward fold. I never believed I could completely lay my forward to the ground in a half pigeon, but now I can. The fact I can hold my feet in happy baby instead of my ankles with ease. I am just beginning to have an insight in what the third eye brings into my practice. And I allow myself grace on days where I need to use a block even if yesterday I didn’t need to. It is days where I think I have mastered a pose, and realize I need to realign with my hips or shift my weight differently. Your body truly does know what is right, wrong, or at progressive phase, all I had to do was listen to it. But ultimately, when non-yoga people judge me for how long I’ve been doing yoga and still con’t touch my toes, claiming why waste the time or energy. But for me, it is these small wins, these mini surprises that make me happy, that make me keep going. The goals no one notices but yourself, the small wins that you didn’t even realize were wins until you accomplished the feat. Maybe another 5 years, maybe sooner with more consistently I can touch my toes. But until then, I thank Adriene and Benji for providing a healing, non-judgemental environment with such a strong community that adds value to both my good and bad days. I cannot wait to see what small wins I can accomplish this year. Thank you!❤

Morning all! I arrived on my mat early today ..no catching up :) For the first time I came near to taking off with the crow - I think I hadn't understood how high up I could be ..my knees came in at my armpits almost whereas before I'd always tried to put them on my elbows! I think it might be a good few months before I actually do it if ever but I felt the shape and the feeling of almost taking off. Have a great day everyone.

I am over 60, retired and have practiced yoga for several years whether at a studio, gym or at home and the best of every day is the flow of movement for body and mind. So great. Although I still can't do crow pose, I have seen improvement in other poses. I actually held tree pose without too much wavering and didn't fall. Great progress for me! I always love Yoga with Adriene and appreciate Benji's visits as my dogs practice with me as well. This 30-day journey has been a blessing. Thank you, Adriene!

Today I turn 27 and I am so proud of myself for doing this challenge daily for the past 29 days. It feels like a birthday gift I have been preparing for a while. Thank you Adriene. My attention has improved, I am kinder to myself I have learnt to be committed to myself and I am pretty enthusiastic that I will keep this habit up. Doing these yoga practices with you has been the best part of my day for a while now. So thank you so much for helping me trust myself better. The light in me honors the light in you. ♥️♥️♥️

I get frustrated sometimes because I have alignment and balance issues in my body…but then I just tell myself to work with what I’ve got and I adjust. ❤️

I am one day behind and will finish tomorrow. I'll miss this series when it's done. I love that they've all been under a half an hour so I can easily fit them into my morning schedule. I have been doing yoga for over 40 years and still have a very wobbly tree. Always something to humble us. Thank you Adriene and Benji.

Today, my balance was off, I was a dancing tree 😂 and my crow only flew for a very short time, haven’t practiced that pose in ages, but I was happy about the invitation to do so. This journey has really helped me get through the dark, cold season. Thank you so much, Adriene and Benji! ❤

Thank you for this practice this morning- tomorrow is my birthday and there was something special about dong yoga today before my birthday tomorrow. From years past I recall a downloadable calendar with links for each day. Can’t wait! BUT FIRST, while I couldn’t fly with the Crow pose, I’m so proud to know I will complete the entire January practice. It’s been my pleasure and blessing to practice with all of you, worldwide. Day 29, February 22nd. My inner support system, yes, I can finally feel that. My tree today was just in light breeze, but my crow was shaking accompanied by funny bunny. I was really an unexpected fan experience. Thanks, Adriene and Benji ❤ Lots of love to all ❤❤❤ Namaste 🙏

Last "See you tomorrow" of this journey! Time flew by - and so much has changed! I find myself laughing whenever I fall from a pose and feeling proud of myself instead being frustrated, sad and/or disappointed. All because I find myself trying, trusting not only the floor beneath me but the progress I made 'till now. I am so much more connected with myself and gained confidence to flow through poses without being afraid or too concerned about doing it perfectly. My heart is filled with high energy vibration - thank you all for sharing this rollercoaster with me. See you tomorrow to close this chapter and begin whatever new journey there is for us out there. Hope it's one with lots of yoga!

Flow was/is an apropos name for this series. At times I found myself wondering about its unique character as compared to the previous iterations of these 30 day journeys, and I found it difficult to put my finger on. Then, all of a sudden, 29 days had gone by and I found myself even MORE in touch with my inner self preferring to trust in that over many of Adriene's cues (one example: I went for plow pose today over the second crow). It's like we've been carried along by a river, not knowing where we're going but certainly moving along nonetheless. In that time our sense of the river's changing current has grown and we're better able to navigate our boats than when we began. Perhaps it's just me.

This morning, I gave myself some time to do absolutely nothing before stepping onto the mat. To love is to trust! Trust that we are doing great by showing up for ourselves. We trusted her the minute we decided to take a ride on this journey. We, really, have worked with focus, rigour, softness, kindness, and balance to develop a practice for finding FLOW. What an incredible blessing! Namaste✨💜

I was crying a lot this practice. Have to trust love takes different shapes, that it is continuous movement. That I don't have all the answers. feeling sad ánd hopeful. thanks for practice everyone.

So very grateful to myself for showing up for myself every day. I have let go of alcohol over this month and use my breath & my reiki principles to help. I have slept so much better & feel my strength returning, on the inside and out❤ thank you Adriene & your team & each of us in this heartfelt community. Namaste

Hmmmmmm FLOW has been like a long gentle reawakening for me. Each year has a different flavor and this has been a particularly sweet one for me. As we finish flow tomorrow may we all continue to cultivate sweet moments with ourselves through continued yoga practices. Blessings one and all. Can’t wait for the delightful exploration we will have tomorrow. The last day is very revealing of what we have internalized.

I cried tears of joy when I managed to do the crow pose for a few seconds there. Had to pause the video, gather myself, and try again. I haven’t been able to do that since I was in single digits age! My brain wanted to be mean about how I didn’t hold it for very long, but WE STILL DID IT!!! 🎉congrats everyone!!! This means something! Even if you were able to rock gently on your toes! Let your body surprise you! I had major anxiety gearing up for it then truly shocked myself! 💌✨🌄🌻💞 Loved Benji’s tongue blep, too. If you’re feeling intimidated, trust the process. Trust yourself. You can do this.

Feeling emotional as I write this... I am a long time follower and sporadic yogi. This is my first time completing a full 30 day Yoga journey. I am feeling so proud of myself for showing up and getting on the mat every single day this month and I don't plan to stop! I think the difference is that I am doing it for myself not for anyone else or any external expectations. Thank you for guiding us through this experience

This one was definitely a challenge, because when poses aren’t going how I want them to my mind often starts wandering off. I kept working to come back to the present and it worked at times, others it didn’t, but ultimately I got through. I am so glad that everyone here has managed to get to this stage, even when it’s tough or life gets in the way. Looking forward to tomorrow!

FLOW 🌊 | Day 29 | Trust | January 30, 2024 | 💜 We've reached the crown! Such a beautiful week of flowing through the chakras. With Adriene's reminder to consider the energy we're flowing beyond our physical bodies, I walk off the mat a little taller, a little straighter! See everyone tomorrow for day 30, the day I used to find stressful, but I've learned to love. 🙏

Dear Adrienne & Team, this was a wonderful journey, thank you very much! It’s been my 6th year of the 30 day yoga journey and I found this years program just perfect. I admire how much thought, dedication and love you put into it. The practices aligned so wonderfully and my body could grow and expand into new shapes without drill or total exhaustion. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart, this is a very precious gift at the beginning of this year!❤

With Gratitude and love for this month of shared practice. I'm loving this journey so far! From zero to trusting that showing up in whatever form I can, with less self judgment, is exactly what I needed to experience. Today I simply observed and tried out a tree pose, absorbed and let sink in what future poses will be possible and within my reach with more practise. I have actively got to day 6 over the course of this month, practised rest, soul and meditation days too. That's 5 hours to myself that I otherwise would not have allowed myself. Thank you for this sweet gift everyone 🙏. Time for ourselves is a beautiful thing, so I plan to keep turning up on the mat when I can beyond tomorrow, until I have practised all 30 sessions. Who knows where or how far this introduction to an authentic and meaningful yoga practise will lead me but I am excited to find out.

Time flies when you’re practicing yoga with Adriene & Benji! One more day to go! Although I practice yoga daily, I can feel strength building in my body with this journey. I was able to hold crow pose for a few seconds not once but twice today and I’ve never been able to do that. Thank you, Adriene, Benji, and the YWA community for your support ❤️

I've never commented on one of these, but I wanted to share some great things I experienced today. Cobra used to be my least favorite posture, I didn't understand it and it never felt right. Along this journey it's become one of my favorite poses, and when we went straight into our first downward dog, I felt a real flash of disappointment. It's crazy how that works. I've also never been able to get a crow pose before, but for just a second I took flight today. It was so unreal. Thank you Adriene, I had so many unforced smiles today ❤️
