Several of you guys have wondered why I don't cut them and bring them in the house or sell them. It takes 6 hours the way it is, just to rogue the field and flag flowers. I cut down literally hundreds if not a thousand every day that aren't making the grade. The amount of time it would take to cut and put in water, plus the sheer volume of flowers, you would need hundreds of vases and a lot of time (which I don't have enough of the way it is.) I do bring a handful in every few days though. For those that haven't watched the other videos{which will answer a lot of questions}, we cut almost 2000 sunflowers{Sunrich Orange} every morning for cut flowers for my customers. These double flowers are strictly for seed. Most of the singles have pollen and would be a mess inside the house. I know its tough to watch, Erin and I both agree you have to be brutally consistent and just cut them regardless of how cool they are. If it is totally a jaw dropper, that I have never seen before and in the wrong field, then it gets flagged and gets an insect bag around it to isolate it for hand pollinating. Anyway just a quick explanation since I find myself with a few hours of time because we are getting a glorious all day soaking rain, yay. Have a blessed day

Hey, that Localline thing is about $60 a month minimum. For small businesses that minimum charge is way too much. People like to pick out their items and going for a short drive to get fresh flowers. It really is kind of dreamy. But for those that need delivery, there is likely a better option.
