I have the tightest hamstrings in America. Glad I found your channel during pandemic and stumbled upon this one today. Thank you. I have a lot of work to do.

I love this video!! I'm gonna try this at least a month ... I am already on day 13 and I see already really good results. Before I do the stretch I do a quick warmup for a better and deeper stretch (tip)

How long does it take to work up to that point of stretch? I am 6'4" so maybe this sort of thing might be unattainable. She trains like an athlete

i think it's because this is a slow flow but this is just so therapeutic for me. i feel better everytime i do it and all my problems and what makes me sad or stressed seems smaller afterwards

I have been trying yoga for 1 month on the weekends for hip flexibility, core strength and I want to do the splits. So far I'm loving it. I have been to many tutorial videos and usually I'm able to follow along. But some movements are just too advanced for me. That's impressive at around 20 minutes. Maybe I'll be able to do it in another 6 months.

When I lay down and try to pull my leg I find my muscles pushing against the stretch but when someone else is pushing my leg it goes waay further.is there anything I could do to relax my legs so I can be able to do this on my own?Great flow it really stretched those hamstrings after my leg day Xx

Your left leg is way tighter than your right, easy to see when you lie on your back, holding your left ankle with leg up towards the sky, as compared to the right side. I have the same problem also tighter left leg hamstring muscles and less range of motion. I see tis why you start with the left leg first, once stretched, then the right leg is easier to loosen up. Now this is just straight leg stretching, you know if you bring your thigh close to your body with knees bent then grab ankle and pull towards you, then you get more of a stretch where hamstrings and glutes meet, as opposed to behind the knee. I just use a rope as pulley, so I can hold my hamstring stretch for 15 minutes per leg, or more, so my arms don't get tired I use blue dog leash as a rope around the foot, and leash goes back over head around a strong metal pipe as pulley, then down to the long stick that I twist and tuck close to my body under my arms while lying on back and pillow for head. Holding stretch positions can really suck and be tiring, so I cheat.

I ask, Does that type of stretching to gain flexibility can be done every day or do I have to leave days in between for the muscle to rest?

You can certainly stretch every day. If you are sore, simply take more time to warm up and do not push as hard.

Adee help me! I stretch and seem to be a little more flexible, but by the next day I’ve lost it and have to start over. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this so I retain newly gained flexibility and don’t lose it the next day?

Consistency is key. If you are stretching every day (and spending enough time in the stretches, holding them and breathing in them) you will get more flexible over time. It's hard to see a difference day to day. Take progress pictures!

Hey Adee, I have a question. Towards the end of the video, when you stretch your leg all the way up and grab your ankle, I am unable to do that. The most I can grab is my knee. How do I improve this?

yes we all can see you shaking your hair out, you forgot to do voice over "Ok now chin up look to the sky as you shake your hair out left right left right side to side 5 times, then turn left look right at camera then shrug your shoulders clasp your hands together then close your eyes, tuck your chin down and bury your nose into your clasped hands breath into your hands once then shake your hair again. Cut to commercial.
