the sensation of a real, loud, huge amp is why I've been exclusively using ML Sound Lab sims. They just sound *real* in a way that a lot of others don't.

I like it when you make it brighter with the SM57 movements. It would be killer to clone that Strung Out -Twisted By Design tone.

You’re fucking up if you’re not using that Mega Green cab for everything. That’s the best cab IR ever captured.

Mine sounds way too bassy compared to your sound with the same presets. Like if I'm inside a box. I don't know why
@justinsenaonline2 ай бұрын
Pop on an EQ, then do a high pass between 80-120hz. That’ll fix it. You can also turn the bass down on the cab as well. It’s important to dial in your source sound first, then use EQ to cut out any annoying frequencies.

I personally think that the Plexi and Flagship models cut through a mix the best. All ML products are great!

Do you happen to have a tutorial on how this all works? I know nothing about the Direct Input world and how these digital amps even get set up.
@RiffsAndBeards Жыл бұрын
I do not but other channels do. The stand alone version that comes with this plugin you just set your input (normally Input 1) and you are off to the races.

Did I miss something? I wish you had explained more about how this thing is used. I see you playing a traditional guitar, and I would assume this is a plug-in for DAW, and if it is then which ones? Are you plugged into a device that is required for connectivity?
@RiffsAndBeards Жыл бұрын
I am plugged into an audio interface. Please check out the website for compatibility and technical requirements :)

@@RiffsAndBeards I downloaded the "ML Sound Lab..." installed it and also Ableton's 90 day trial. the ML Sound Lab does not work with a 1366x768 resolution, it's too big for the screen and it's not usable. I hope there is a more dependable VST out there.

@Stinger_1995 Жыл бұрын
That's not a problem that comes from the plugin. No offense but I think you don't really know what you're doing, it's not about the plugin being "dependable". Look for some tutorials on how to use plugins, there's plenty out there. Hope you figure it out my man! @@michaelwarren4273

i really like ML Sound Labs amp modeling sound. lots of saturation a juice. but i don´t like that they pull the same crap Neural DSP does. release the same plugin over and over again with just different amp model and cab built in. making one suite like Amplitude that you can buy new amp models for would make way more sense from a users standpoint. also, why do the plugins not process in stereo? dialing in rhythm guitar tones is kind of a pain. seems like such a basic thing that really should be a given. also also, the noise gate and overdrive need an overhaul.
