Thanks. This gave me the confidence to swap out my side inlet valve that kept overflowing no matter how i adjusted it. Was very quick and easy even for a DIY-fobe. Got the valve (not same brand as in this vid), adjustable wrench and grips all from screwfix and works great. Cheers mate!

Very helpful my problem is the nut holding the pipe in the tank as its got years of pain and stuff, I think I can do it . later now and its done just about 2inches room to work the old valve out and put the new one in, not easy with hands like shovels also I need another hand for the torch. Thanks a bunch and now I`ll have a TOT

My replacement toilet came with a Wirquin valve, much the same sort of thing. I'm replacing a bottom feed cistern with a new concealed cistern. Like your valve it has a plastic feed pipe. Do I use a tap type attachment to connect?
