The film footage of Carl Goldberg flying his Zipper model airplane was originally shot on 8 mm color film in February, 1941, in Bakersfield, California, by Edward Kapitanoff, then President of Comet Western Model Airplane Co. and Exclusive Distributor for Comet Model Airplane & Supply Co. of Chicago
