Great video Peachy. I definitely need to give Murray Cod a try.

Cheers mate! Yeah they are pretty cool, definitely worth chasing but it's best to go into it with realistic expectations - they're either biting or they're not! :)

Love that Country. Spent a lot of time around the Turon Valley, north to the Cudgegong, across to Burrendong and everywhere in between. Burrendong is chockas with Carp. I reckon fisheries could release 10,000 x 300grm Cod in there, and they would grow fat on carp fry. Great video mate, much enjoyed thank you😎🇦🇺

How good was that! But I was worried about your GoPro going for a swim at the start of the video. 😆 And how good are those Backwater Assault paddles. Great bit of kit.

Thanks mate! Funnily enough I did lose one of my DJI Action cameras, but not over the side of the kayak as I still have the clamp mount! Think it must have fallen out the car door at some stage! 🤣 Yeah the hand paddles are awesome, even more so in the big PA, it's a bit like turning an aircraft carrier sometimes in those tight spaces....

@@PeachyFlyFishing what a fine time! I am on the gold coast and started fly fishing start of this year. it's been tough! the fish up here only want live bait I think! I caught 5 bass since the start of the year in a small creek but nothing in the salt yet.

Ah that's awesome that you've started fly fishing! Look it's not easy, it takes a while to get good at it, stick with it though cause it's just the most fun you can have with a fishing rod I reckon....I'd recommend joining a local fly fishing club, it's a fast track to success.... Thanks for watching mate. :)

@@PeachyFlyFishing Thanks Peachy, I actually love the whole experience. Every time I don't catch a fish I say afterwards that I went out to practice my casting haha. In fact, I have learnt a lot from you. Thanks for the dinner video upload
