I wrote some captions for the Swedish parts, remember to add them if you need them.
Instead of choosing a beautiful place and hopefully catch a pike followed my friend Dr. Viktor Wiberg to a swamp by the Baltic sea where he said there was plenty of "Tinder-Profile-Sized" pike. I reluctantly accepted the use of sinking flies and started chasing the dream of doing the perfect gill plate grip. I'm not sure if I have ever caught a pike this size on a fly fishing rod, so I decided that it was my personal best.
The music in this episode is mainly by my good friend Mr.Ambient, Johan Åhman aka "The Happy Hunter" this time with "Blueberry Hills" including a special disco ending, "Poking The Weeds" and a little bit of the hit song "Lost in Trouts".
But also "Found at sea" written and performed by Ben Lester, Sean Carey and Zach Hanson.

Hi Rolf. I’m a recent subscriber, really enjoying your videos - something special about them but I can’t put my finger on it. Anyway, about the fishing - when they are biting good and then stop - often it is the moon. The moon has a lot of influence on the fish’s behaviour. And ours too. For setting the hook on pike, maybe try get into the habit of strip striking. In my experience, I have found that far more pike stay on when strip striking as opposed to just lifting the rod. Wonderful video and enjoy your pike fishing!

I've learned I have ADHD a few months ago, in my 31th year, and for some reason, I say that to my fishing buddies quite often too lol. It's good thing to know, knowing it a decade prior, I could have maybe get a master, I'm stuck with a bachelor and ADHD, but it seems working too. Finding long enough hackle will be a challenge. I think if you just lash the hook to the whole chicken, roughly half the chicken would be under the water surface and half above. Taadaa! A pike klinkhammer!🐔

Yes, steel leaders. Pike has nothing on dry fly fishing for trout. But it’s great fun!
