Are chubs the only species that you fish for here? Is chub fishing similar to trout? I’ve seen thousands swim by in Missouri but never fished for them. I usually fish for cat or bass. We don’t have cold clear waters in NE OK where I’m from.

In the spring and summer bass, bluegill and anything else. This is the first time I actively tried fishing for chubs. I wouldn’t say similar to trout but I do use some of the same setup techniques. Really would like to try my hand at large carp with a fly rod. As stated in the video it was close to home and really wanted to give the infamous creek chub some spotlight. It’s still possible to fish in these creeks year round. Thanks again Jay
