It also shows that after a hoolie of wind the trout even in the still moderate chop are still back on the feed to the right combination of fly and good tactics. Long may the tradition and banter of the Kit Kat cup be continued in the years ahead.

Great banter between the 2 of you brilliant. I remember using the same method over 30 years ago on my home water at the time Tal-y-llyn lake, casting a cats whisker at moving fish on a floating line rather than a boobie & getting a hit on almost every cast. Evenings always seemed to be the best time for this method. Keep them videos coming lindsay.👍🏴

Good honest friends by the look of you two. like you we are in competition upin Scotland when we go fishing ( anywhere) a biscuit, a sandwich, a pint, is put up and it's still intense after 40 plus years. Stay well. Big Davie

What is the approximate length, width & depth of those wooden boats you fish in on Rutland? They look long and narrow. I'm assuming your fishing loch style with a drouge deployed? I'm guessing the heavy wooden boats don't get tossed in the wind like an aluminum boat. Or are those boats made out of plastic? Great song too! Looks like the comrodery and banter between to old friends was fantastic as it should be! Kit Kat Cup! Ha! Awsome! Cheers!

Hi John, they are made for Loch Style fishing and are fairly steady. Not sure of the exact length but around 12-14' at a guess. They are made of fibreglass I believe, the older bigger boats on Loch Leven are still the good old clinker built wooden boats. They are good to go in anything.
