Wow, 1st video that REALLY made me understand why they are so emotional during the interviews... I was severely uncomfortable thinking they were faking it, but now... Seeing all that prep and ridiculous effort they put into it, and the story each one share with wicked, PLUS being able to act with the original cast.. it's literally a dream coming through and i get it

sooo lovely to see a well put together video of these two with their love for Wicked, their audition process, their performance, and a touch on their emotional interviews without judgement but just stating simple facts and quotes. i’ve disliked all the judgement for them through this process, and wish people would just stop judging so much, and simply enjoy the art and let others be so i really appreciated this video! 💗

it’s actually pretty normal. humans voice doesn’t have just one tone in speaking. she didn’t change her voice, she just speaks in different tone. if you look up different interview of her, you can notice, that this was always a norm for her, sometimes she speak in her lower tone, sometimes in higher tone. and, not to mention, that sometimes she speaks higher tone safe her vocal cords, if she has to sing a lot in soon. she, herself, said that

​@@pebble4713well yes but what did she "lack" or was it because there's more buzz around ariana? Just saw the movie and ariana was okay in it. Only part that bothered me was how she'd switch between her glinda voice and regular voice while singing.

@@Ponce17I just think Ariana has more vocal range than Dove. And I’m glad she used her real voice while singing because her voice is beautiful. Glindas speaking voice is really just Kirstin’s voice of how she was originally portrayed which Ariana did a great job capturing. In every broadway/movie adaptation of the wicked/wizard of oz universe. Everyone’s Glinda/Elphaba is different and unique to them. Ariana made Glinda into her own while respecting the original rather just replicating the entire original Glinda. I love Dove but she’s not touching Ariana vocally.

Her acting is not bad, but I think it’s overrated. It’s more surface level and two thought out for me as opposed to Organic like Cynthia‘s.
