be careful, this is a commercial add from a sax manufacturer. All sorts of studio fixing could've be done. My opinion is that there is no chance to have his mouthpiece so shallow in his mouth and to get such a tone. Lower tones wouldn't get out. The key-works...if the improvisation is written on the score, this could be dubbed too. Secondly, there appears to be a little bit of reverb despite (probably) the condenser mic. It does not sound like a common bedroom recording.
@petervance72685 жыл бұрын
@@borisdjurkovic3225 exactly what I was thinking, the shape of his mouthpiece wouldn't allow for the warmth, unless he was a seasoned professional... I guess lol
@brianfallis5 жыл бұрын
One little issue tho. Watch carefully and you'll see that he plays Bb incorrectly. He uses the "Bis" key exclusively by pressing it with his middle finger, then removing it to continue. I don't think he ever uses the RH lower side key. What's up with that?
@aidanswartz91865 жыл бұрын
it sounded way too professional to be played in a home studio and you are def right about the fact that his mouth is wayyy too far up the mouthpeice to produce that amazing tenor sax sound

While his father the intro plays he stands like Stan Getz waiting to play. it's really amzing! His Sound and Feeling are unbeleavable for his age. There are so many kids around the world who have great technics. But almost those kids are plying just notes. There is no another Kirill in the world. His father must be also a great musician.
