I used to own a 1947 Bonanza. 145 knots on 11.5 gallons per hour. Pretty much the same performance as a Cirrus SR-20. VERY well built plane, but expensive to maintain. It looks like this one has a modified panel. My plane had a bunch of switches that all looked the same. Landing lights, pitot heat, gear, flaps....all the same type of switch!

Yes, this was modernized a lot from the Wurlitzer jukebox panel.

Dang, two years ago. If this were more recent, I would ask for a video on the spin recovery capability of the 35 Bonanza. From what I hear, they do not spin easily, but once they do spin, PARE isn’t much help. If anyone has links to information on 35 Bonanza spin characteristics (for accidental spins) and spin recovery, I would truly appreciate it.

Yes they did, not a lot of changes over the years in the basic airframe.

Don't buy an RC version of this plane.. From what I've seen they fly terribly!

The full-scale V-tail Bonanza tends to wag its tail; the conventional tail Bonanza (Debonair or A-36) doesn't. When you scale a full-scale airplane down to model size, the tail feathers must be enlarged or they don't fly well. It has to do with air density and Reynolds numbers.

Had to thumbs down. Could not bare the music.

Hi Wookierabbit! There is only so much we can do with royalty free music. We're sorry you didn't enjoy the video because of the music, and if you know of a rich library of royalty free music better suited to our videos, we are very, very interested in knowing about it!

@@skywagonuniversity5023 No, that is not the point. You already had the music to begin with. Just take away the instrumental music and allow the mechanical hums of the engine do all the playing.
