Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZbin channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

THIS is the coolest thing I’ve seen today! I’m a 24/7 caregiver out of my home & when I see a family actually celebrate their elders in any way I’m totally warmed!! (Ya know our society doesn’t really value our elderly - and it’s a travesty & embarrassment really, that one of the richest countries in the world , treats their elderly like a disposable burden for the most part) I wouldn’t have missed this for the world either!!! Congrats!!!

Ive nursed 3 elderly relatives through to their deaths from terminal illness, my mother in law for 14 years......and as hard as it has been sometimes, I wouldnt change a thing.

It’s always mind blowing to me when I hear the people older than me having grandparents younger than mine. It’s been happening for 19 years but it’s still just crazy. Sometimes I wonder if things would be different if my dad had kids at a younger age, obviously it would be but I wish I had longer with my grandfather. It’s nice to see the great bond that is between Nates family!

I’ve watched every one of your videos from the beginning and this one hit me right in the feels this week. Celebrating your grandparents many years of love and marriage was beautiful, we just said a final goodbye to my 91yr grandfather 3 days ago and I’m sad I didn’t get to do more of this with him during his life with us. Cherish these memories! Also your niece and my daughter are nearly birthday buddies! We had her first birthday party last weekend!
