Berube clearly has told him to hold off the fighting for now. His reason for being on the team is as a bruiser and if hes not doing what the coach wants then he will be gone. Wait till April to see if true.

I think the goalie situation will be as followed . Who ever starts game 1 if they win and play well they get next start . You need to roll the hot hand. If stolie comes back and plays like he did or close to it he will be game 1 starter . Enless woll can keep going on a heater who knows

JoWol has played well; I'd say well enough to assume the #1 role right now. When Stolartz comes back he needs conditioning but as far asIm concerned, Joe has played too well to put him back into 1b. You need a goalie who's on a roll but also one who you have confidence in before the playoff run.

It's amazing you guys don't get it. Reaves hasn't fought because he's had no reason to. When he's in the lineup, the Leafs are not bullied. He's played over 1000 NHL games, and knows his job. The Leafs are winning and you're complaining about Reavo not fighting.

All this talk about Reaves is maddening, the team is 3rd overall in the league, and leading their division, and all leafs nation is worried about is Reavo not fighting, let them release or trade Reavo and this team will go back to being soft like they have been the last 9 years, just having Reaves on the bench keeps the other teams honest. You know Kampf got a career high of 38 points one season and you could argue he plays with 100% effort every time he's on the ice but he's not a guy who will win you games. Would 2-3 Kampf be better than 1 Nylander? THat's a question you have to honestly ask yourself before making another brilliant hot take..

I think Reaves has retired from fighting. I saw it last year, when they played Boston. Lucic was in the press box and yet Reaves wouldn't take the initiative ( I believe it was after the Liljegren slewfoot ), and all I could think of, was that he didn't want to face any future reprisals. I think his heavyweight courage has left him. There's nothing left for him to do in this league. Time to go.

Why would Reaves fight for Timothy Lilligren, who couldn’t even make the team this year and got traded, it’s not like Timothy is Mckar, what is Reavo supposed to do when he ask for a fight and everyone turned him down, do you want him chasing around people and clubbing them in the head like Mcsorely did to Brashear. When Reavo is in the lineup, no one on the other team runs around, so yeah he’s doing his job.

@@peterloewen1533me too bro, when Matthews, McCabe, ,Knies, and someone else I’m forgetting, got injured by players running around on the other teams, Reaves was out of the lineup, so just having him in the lineup, changes the way teams play physically against the leafs. Watch what will happen if they trade him or send him down and don’t replace his toughness, it will be hunting seasons on the leafs stars, like it has been for 9 years before Reaves got here. My question to the fans, is do they want to go back to being soft like they were before Reaves.

Nick, some constructive criticism here because i want to like the show, and I like Rosy as a long time leafs fan. You remind me of my science teacher Mr. Farthing, who has a ton of good info but would talk in the same tone the whole class and it would put me to sleep. If youre gonna tell a personal story about having some vodkas in Philly and getting in to it with locals, please, for the love of God, put the radio voice away. It comes off as an hour long ad read. Nothing about it comes off as a genuine story when everything is clouded under the radio-style voice you use with everything. It sounds like you're just trying to get through the morning on the small town local 96.1 station with a few corny jokes about the weather. If you tried to make it more like you're just here, talking to your buddy Rosey, instead of an audience, this pod would be much more enjoyable. All love, have a good one
