I think that's the Eaton Fire. The space in the lower part with no lights are the Verdugo Mountains, and the little string of lights that runs left to right through looks like the Glendale Freeway. Palisades fire shouldn't have that many lights around it.

At 2:55 that was the Sunset Fire in Hollywood, Runyon Canyon to be specific. Two blocks from Hollywood Blvd, which runs left to right. Eaton Fire was waaaaay bigger

It definitely wasn’t the palisades fire. Typically when you take off out of LAX, you take off over the water and this take off took place over land. They only take off over land if the winds have changed direction. It’s rare that they take off over land. If you took off over the ocean you would have been able to see the Palisades fire immediately to your right as you were gaining altitude over the ocean. You probably saw the Eaton fire or Hollywood hills fire. Also the Palisades fire is so much bigger in size than what was in the video.
