This is the epitome of video that I love to watch. The Caravan, for me, is one of the best products Cessna has ever made. They have been making wonderful “high wing” aircraft for a long time. I had the pleasure to solo in their small Cessna 152. The scenery was jaw dropping and you were in good hands with the professional pilots, who have many years ahead. Thanks - Jim

I flew Federal Air a few years ago. On our way back to JNB from a dirt strip airport a young lady came of the plane with a cooler, gave us some beers or soft drinks, carried our luggage, did the briefing, folded the stairs...and flew us to JNB. Great memories there !

Some of my favourite videos are with the Grand Caravan aircraft good to see young pilots up and coming as well give them a number of years and they will go from being the big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big pond moving to say an A320 size aircraft.

I have taken the flight many times. A couple of times there were animals near or on the airstrip and so the airplane buzzed the strip first (to scare the animals off) and then landed on the second pass. The safari vehicles awaiting the passengers will also try and move animals away in anticipation of the landing.

Last time I flew Fed AIr in October 23' I was in a cessna too, 35 degrees outside and they had us waiting o the tarmac for 35 minutes before getting clearance, it was a very painful experience. My previous flights with them have been better especially the twin-engine planes.

I'm on the verge of finishing my CPL. Does anyone here know how many hours is required for me to become a First Officer for Caravan at FedAir? It's a bit unclear on the sites.
@haj58567 ай бұрын
For a First Officer position at Mokulele Airlines, the minimum requirements include 250 hours of total time, 100 hours of cross-country flight, 25 hours of which are night flights, and 50 hours of turbine time or 75 hours of instrument time. For a First Officer position at PlaneSense, the minimum requirements include 750 hours of total flight time, with a preference for 1000 hours, and a current and valid FAA Commercial or ATP pilot license with single-engine land ratings. For a First Officer position at Morningstar Air Express, the minimum requirements vary by aircraft type, but for the Cessna Caravan, it is 1500 hours of total time or 1200 hours with 300 hours on type.

Hi, you should get in touch with them, send them a note and tell them you're interested - I'm told you could get in the door pretty quickly if you are a good candidate, have the required skills and are committed. Send me a message on Instagram @gabeleigh if you want me to put you in touch with someone for more info.

Lol I thought that there's something wrong with camera level at MSFS2020 while flying this airplane but pilots really see nothing while in cockpit. I don't get constructors, they should actually have pilots heads as high as possible. How do they even taxi when they don't know where they go unless pilot lean head out of the avionics panel.
