Why Brian Manzella thinks all golfers have to battle a clubface that won't square itself up.

thanks Brian for this brief video on flying wedge concept. as you show it is relatively easy to have body rotate shoulder, chest, torso and maintain the angle till impact. but that was a swing for a short chip shot. try the same flying wedge with a full swing and it is difficult to maintain.if you have some camera angle behind you with tracman showing trajectory of ball flight, then it would be convincing. keep up the instructions. by the way what about the device you demonstrated months ago on wrist flexion and extension, any follow up with full swing. thanks John

set your flying wedges on the backswing , load the #3 pressure point at the top of the backswing and keep it loaded (no clubhead throwaway)all the way into your finish then you will require ZERO clubface manipulation. Work the ball by simply opening or closing the clubface at setup using the SAME grip. This worked very well for a guy named Jack

Brian, I agree. However, if u were to try to "hold" the flying wedge thru impact.. the shaft releases more and is very powerful. I have a similar swing to Taly Williams.. and I can tell you first hand.. I can compress the ball as good as any with a firm left wrist swing. I just hold the flying wedge (as well as I'm able) and turn through with my torso as fast as I can. This is a very powerful move with lass moving parts. Maybe you can evaluate this type of swing. Thanks

Probably so. But it shouldn't be a conscious thing.
