Yeah even simply changing the color makes it unsafe in Californias eyes until tested, and for awhile the microstamping requirements made it impossible for any new guns to be added. That was their brilliant way of restricting our 2nd amendment rights. Let’s come up with an idea that technology doesn’t exist for, and make it a requirement. Then no more new guns 😝

I live in a free state. I have run around 500 rounds through mine. The first 50 rounds i had a few jams but after that has run well. Only ammo it didn't like was Hornady American gunner, everything else ran great(even steel case) It's ok for the money but I will be interested in putting more rounds through it to see if it keeps running.

I haven’t had any problems with mine, I changed the trigger and it’s a little better than the original. Overall it shoots great and feels great in the hand. I might have to get a couple more now that we have more color options.

Fmk makes a gen 3 complete upper however I am unsure if we can purchase them in California. For sure getting the gen 3 trigger though.

I have one and i like it...first hundred rounds only had the very first round fail to extract but after that it was flawless

That’s what I like to hear. Of all the ones I tested there was a small break in period of 25-50 rounds then they ran perfectly. Thanks for watching

In the experience I have had with them they run great, but it could also be ammo related. For the video I simply grabbed random ones from the shop, and took them out.

I've been pesterin FMK to get the GEN3 slide on tha Roster! (Not sure if G3 slide's missin LCI, or what?) Even if I can overlook havin to buy a $70 trigger upgrade, havin to shell-out another $275 bucks, just to make tha gun useful to me, is a DEAL-BREAKER! No clear consensus on FMK, even with all tha time they've had to perfect tha design. Now that the M18/Max 9 are on tha roster, we no longer need to roll tha dice, to get'a PROVEN, optics-ready design...

No doubt the Ruger Max 9 is nice, and the M18. Those are 2 handguns I’d like to add to my collection. The FMKs are decent for the price. I’d like to have a pair of every handgun eventually.. well maybe not the hi-point I got one as a joke, and I could live without having a set of it 😝

if you own the gen 2 you can easily purchase the Gen 3 slide on FMK site for $330 and throw it on your gen 2 lower. minus the upgraded trigger its the same thing
