No it’s fine. Just keep in mind the voltage (amplitude) scaling will be off due to selected attenuation differing from actual attenuation. 12V may display as only 6V for example. Thx for watching 🍻

I'm a DIY guy and just recently got this scope and starting to play around with it. I need to get an attenuator. Is a 10:1 all I need or should I also get a 20:1? I have watched your other videos on the pico and Hantek. I'm wanting to get one of those. I have a canbus issue I need to troubleshoot and just want to learn to use the scope more for automotive diagnostics. Another question will the Hantek CC65 current clamp work with this scope? I saw you use it with the Hantek and PIco and was curious if you tried it with this one. I want to be able to test like blower motors and starters and things.

10:1 is likely adequate. To use the current clamp you will require an adapter mini BNC to BNC. Thx for watching.

Great video, I have one question, tho: Can the device work with a 20:1 attenuator as well? (Does it have a x20 setting) For some reason, the at10 isn't available in my country, and the only ones I could order would take 3 weeks of shipping, while the dso152 could be here tomorrow, as well as a HT201 so 20 to 1.

Yes you can use the 20:1 attenuator. Just be aware the scaling will be incorrect. Also beware of the fact that you will require the mini to standard BNC adapter. @@TheGibby3340 Oh watching the video made something clear, if I get the set, then they give you the x10 attenuator with it. So just need the set, perfect 👌. And you listing the uses of this little device really told me that this is a must have. Cause on the 944 I am working on currently my injectors aren't firing, both lines have battery voltage on I but I need to see like in your test if they get grounded and can also test my crankshaft sensor with this. @@TheGibby3340 The common rail injectors work with high voltage up to 100 v and have a sensitive mosfet, that's why I asked. If you could make a video with common rail injectors it would help me a lot.

I'm wondering if this little thing can do what its cousin FNIRSI 2C23T does...in AUTO the trigger cursor can still be positioned...trigger cursor outside voltage range produces scrolling capture...trigger cursor positioned within voltage range stops the scrolling...all while in AUTO kinda a hybrid AUTO/NORMAL thing...

Hi Denis. Yes the trigger does still function in that manner in Auto. Annoyingly it constantly triggers at the zero point on the timebase. Cropping the trace, rendering it near unreadable. I don’t think I have encountered a scope where the trigger cannot be altered on both axis 🤔 Because of the nature of injector operation, the relatively low pulse repetition rate makes it difficult to capture a decent trace under this constraint with this little scope. Perhaps I am missing something obvious or it’s just a matter of finer fettling. 🍻

@@TheGibby3340 I was able to get a secondary ignition capture with 2C23T...can get centered on screen...but not easy and the 8bit small screen doesn't produce a quality waveform... a step too far for these small devices
