I have the regular FNX-45. It's the same gun without the threaded barrel, milled slide, and raised night sights. Easily, it is the best gun I have ever owned. It is a very soft shooter and extremely accurate. This video reminds me to make a review of mine. Great video:)

The difference I believe is the FNX has a milled slide, threaded barrel and supressor sights. Thanks for watching and commenting.

But it does allow cocked and locked carry. Thanks for watching and commenting.

LOVE FN firearms. I hope they remain the #1 firearm company! FN need to keep it up I always warn FN of that.

I hear you there. However, I like this gun. It can be carried cocked and locked (like the 1911). Thanks for watching!

The gun shoots better after you break it in. I've had the FNX 45t for about a year and a buddy just picked up. Went to the range and you could notice how much better the trigger got after wear. Also, this gun shoots great suppressed.

The FNX in all calibers is one heck of a gun.

That's a really good review, Details in a goodway, understanding etc. And one of my wishes is to to shoot with the *FNX* one day

Just found this on the FN Forum. A member there said he e-mailed FN and got the following reply: "The FNX-45 will look and feel very similar to the FNP-45. Most of the design enhancements were mechanical for improved reliability and endurance. The FNX-45 will come with 3 magazines (new design and not compatible with the FNP), all 3 will be 15 round like the current Tactical and Competition. The pricing should be similar to the FNP-45."

I believe you're thinking of the FNS... The FNX-Tactical .45 is more like $1000-$1200 plus another $500 for RMR...

super nice gun, i've shot it's .40 caliber cousin..FN makes a nice pistol...that one right there is out of my current price range though...i'll add it to my "wants" list...i have a few more on my "needs" list to go first :)

Steve and I own the same exact set up. Single action is just barely under 4 lbs. You have to hold the gun relatively firm, I would say more so than with other pistols. I am not sure if this is a result of light materials, but the user must provide more manual resistance to the gun for a good reset. That was a problem I had initially when I first used the weapon. Better ammo does resolve the issue also though, not sure why.

In case no one else mentioned it, 33.6 ounces is NOT "just under 3 lbs." More like, just over 2. :)

I assume my FNP-45 Tactical in FDE has a milled slide. I do know it has a threaded barrel and high suppressor sights. It looks exactly like that FNX except for the color and the model name.

Hi Wishes, sub here, nice gun I just don't like safety's on guns. Am a sig guy, can you do a review on the P226 tac ops? Would like to see how it compares to the mk25. I want to get a tac ops as my next pistol. Thanks again

Great video! I've got mine in FDE. My only question to anyone else with FDE; anyone getting any finish issues on the slide? Mine looks like something got spilled on one side, where one side is more tan while a large spot on the other side looks more like copper.

Sharp until broken in. Then it is cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk-cha-chunk. It's a beautiful thing. Doesn't feel anything like a steel 1911 but in it's own unique way it is every bit as wonderful. The best plastic gun ever built. And the grip grows on you very quickly unless you have small hands. I almost hated the grip for the first 5 minutes at the shop, now I realize how steady the squareness is in my hands. Pair that with the sights which are fast and the best double/single trigger out there IMO. The safety/decocker is pretty awesome too.
