I got the MTM and having no issues with foam. I even used it on a 1.2 GPM machine and still got great foam. I know it cost a lot more than this so this is a good deal but I’m happy with it.

Does the Mckee's Foam Cannon have the 1.1mm orifice? Also the picture of the Foam Cannon is different than than one you are using. Has Mckee's changed the design, if so does it still perform as well or better as what I see in your video?

Have you tried this foam cannon with another shampoo like meguiars gold class? Does it gives that thickness, how many oz? I wanna know if with every soap like that produces that job

Gold Class foams very well just like Chemical Guys! Target and Walmart both have them on sale around 7.99 for the large bottle. Try it out you'll be happy. Make sure you have a 1.1mm orifice installed in your Foam Cannon if you use an electric unit :-)

Order an inexpensive foam gun and replace inner fitting to 1.1mm diameter hole...the and only that is what creates the foam...Amazon has the 1.1mm internal fitting sold in pairs.

Right..I think we have to buy accessories. Like couplers / connecters to connect to the pressure washer hose. That’s the best I got. I’m really looking for help myself. I called myself going to Home Depot but it was last minute. I’m going tomorrow morning to do some research.

stwg32 I agree. The only benfit to a thicker foam is that is lingers longer giving the soap more of a chance to soften and help encapsulate dirt. At the end of the day people fail to realize that you can scratch your car no matter how you wash it.

Turn your knob down to get more suds. Not water! 2 to 3 oz's then add hot water to the soap. Give that a try before buying another foam cannon.Shawn

Most of foam guns are made in same factory in China. Just put a private label to make it look different from the others. Buy multiple guns and compare side by side. You will see those are exactly same products. Most of brands are distributer not a manufacture.

trapcracker I havent had a problem with it drying, but you should really never get to the point where it should dry - try going panel by panel instead of knocking out the whole vehicle at once

k1ngcarlos some do need adaptors I bought one at Wal-Mart a power stroke pressure washer I had to buy a new wand becuase the one that came with it the nozzle didnt come off just a wand and your good to go

i use a Sunjoe electric power washer and its only has a bit more power at 2030psi and1.76 GPM and it foams up just fine and i dont have all that loud noise and its hard to make a mistake with it other than blowing off some emblems . All those other know it all trolls in fact do not know shit same guys that buy the most expensive polishers and cant get any results and are scared to death of picking up a rotary. You could even get more foam if you wnted to waste product. I love using mine but i am not so sure the foam does all that much other than buy us all time but that is fine by me!

Patloo Son these “why are you washing a clean car” comments are getting out of hand. If you are a real detailing enthusiast you know that a car doesn’t stay clean. You wash your car it sits outside it’s covered in water spots, dust, film. So if a car that you freshly detailed doesn’t stay 100% clean without you even driving it you really feel this truck didn’t need to be washed ? I washed and prepped it for the detailing process. I performed a all-in-one paint enhancement protection package on this truck. What was I supposed to do not prep it and polish over dirt ? Most of these negative comments from so called “detailing enthusiasts” really makes me question if you guys are actually experienced in detailing at all. Yet you KZbin keyboard warriors always have the answers. I laugh at all of negative comments. Because 9/10 it’s from people that actually have no idea what they are doing and they want to try to validate them selfs by talking negative about the video. No true professional would do that.

The foam.sticks better on dry surface...rinsing it before and foam would slide off without having time to dwell and remove dirt.

Tundra Guy You are correct. You can pour all the foam in the world on a car and agitation is still required to clean a car. They do offer MORE lubrication during the wash process. Thats all soap is essentially lubrication and this is key to not scratch the paint. Some people pre rinse with foam then rinse off, i find that to be pointless. I leave the soap on as the the thick soaps adds extra lubrication when you drag your wash media across the paint.

Tundra Guy Actually spraying foam on paint does tons, because the foam is heavier than water, it will grab all of the microscopic particles and dirt. The key is to let it sit for awhile letting it drag most of the dirt off. Give it a quick rinse and foam it again then use fresh rags to begin wiping. This is for high end details and guarantees zero spider webs and scratches in the paint.

Prewash is an important step . Foam cannons do remove a lot of dirt ergo reducing your chances of causing scratches when you do your contact wash .
