Stephanie guides the techniques, "FOCUS IN" (on thoughts & feelings) and "FOCUS OUT" (on the sights, sounds & touches of the world around us) - both from Shinzen Young's mindfulness system. Stephanie has taught for & with Shinzen for over 20 years.
The theme of the retreat was to focus on making daily life a meditation, so Steph presented how Focus In and Focus Out can be used practically in daily life to contribute to daily wellbeing.
This guided meditation session was presented during a virtual retreat sponsored by Tucson Community Meditation Center (TCMC) that Stephanie co-led with Kaishin Ashley in September of 2021.
