I've been hanging on by a thread. My parents and sisters died last year, and last month my husband of 26 years wants to have a mid-life crisis and has never believed in God. Some days, I listen to his sermons non-stop, one after the other. But today, I am sobbing and finally feel that it is going to be ok and that my pain has a purpose. Something doesn't sound right, and I'm not sure if it's in the way you explained it. God does give a clear YES OR NO....and it can sound like this, "this is my will or this isn't my will". To not get a clear understanding isn't from God. He might not show us everything but along the way you'll know from Him if you're in the right or wrong.
