5:45 To grease it properly you should take the whole stick apart so you can completely clean out any old grease because if there's any grease left it has oxidized and will spoil the new grease quicker.

Waht kind of grease should i use?? Hope you can help me. Thanks! 😎💪

@@eldiestro1990 Sanwa uses Shin-Etsu G-40M silicone grease and Seimitsu uses Shin-Etsu G-501 silicone grease. I like the G-501 better since it's not sticky to handle, the bearing slides better and there's no smell like on the G-40M. One tube will last you for years and they will work many years after the expiration date. Those are the options if you want to use the exact ones they use from factory. Seimitsu is also trying a new type of lubricant now that creates a thin slippery film on the pivot and then the bearing will have perfect lubrication for a long time. It's called: Dry Surf from Harves Co.

@@epicon6 what’s the benifit of greasing it
@epicon63 жыл бұрын
@@ChicoChopsFGC The pivot and bearing are wearing components, so re-greasing them every 6 months or so will keep them like new. Second reason is for consistent smooth movement. Only depends how much you play and if you care about them wearing out or not. Most people never re-grease and they never have any problems or they don't care to notice the problems. I know an arcade owner who is too lazy to grease the pivots and he is constantly replacing worn out bearings because of it.

Omg, thanks for posting this. While modding my street fighter cab and applying 4lb springs my c clamp flew across room and all pieces slid out. I joined a mod community and got no replies. You’re a lifesaver

Thank you brother. Just bought 2lb spring and 1m larger actuator. Assumed I could figure it out, and your video confirmed. Thanks

Thanks for the idea about Greasing the pivid bushing.To me not just the pivid bushing to be greased up but the square center of the Restrictor Gate.Because if it's unlube it changes shape, The upper square will be grinded and it will be rounded,Due to Fighting Games.i experienced unlubed Levers on the Arcade Ammusment Centers on Malls.The Levers are in Bad Shape already,You don't feel the Square on the Restrictor Gate anymore.

Thanks for this video! I modified my Qanba Drone with a Sanwa JLF, and I guess I didn't put the locking pin on well enough.. because one day when I was playing, the stick just came off into my hand, and the pin, actuator, spring, and that other piece all came off underneath the stick. I was able to recover everything. Your video helped me figure out which order to put all the pieces back on :) I also noticed the locking pin was loose, so I used some pliers to tighten it up. It's working like a champ now!

just ordered a LS-40 Seimitsu lever and will be installing it in a Razer Pantera Evo. This is my first time doing anything like this. My question is do I need the M4x10mm screws to screw the LS-40 into the SE mounting plate? Or can I use the screws that already come in the stock Sanwa JLF mounting plate?

My stick started to had problems specifically with the upper diagonal right input. It will often make neutral jumps instead. What should I do?

hello im a bit late but my stick stopped working and my friend said it was some microswitches. Im not entirely sure what to buy. Im thinking of buying a whole new lever but you said something about replacing the pcb.. is that all i need to do? It doesnt read 1234 inputs
@focusattackcom5 жыл бұрын
You likely need a TPMA PCB. focusattack.com/sanwa-tp-ma-pcb-assembly/ We sold out a lot of them during the sale, but a restock is coming in two weeks.

Why do some JLFs plates have those reddish/orange screws on the underside of the plate and some don't? I have two JLFs and one doesn't have those
@Loque693 жыл бұрын
I think that is the glue applied on the screw to secure it. Mine also same. Razer atrox.

So, stop me if this is crazy. I have one of those Arcade1Up cabinets, and I’m replacing the crappy sticks they put in there... unfortunately they’re super-glued inside. Screws were epoxied over and everything. Would it be possible to remove the stock stick from the board, leaving the plate inside, and just put my new stick in its place? (Removing it’s mounting plate first, of course)
@focusattackcom4 жыл бұрын
That I'm not certain. So long as the plate's screw holes line up with the Sanwa's body you could potentially do that.

If the internal screws in my sanwa are not red, but everything else says sanwa, has the gold dot and omicron switches is it still a real one?
