@@missourigreen051 I've seen it at a festival, too, couple months back. Yes, it's indeed a slow burn, but not in a calculated way. It really is un-cinematic and the performances are not that good either. One of my favourite movies is Jonathan Glazer's "Under The Skin", and I also love Roy Anderson and Michael Haneke films, so I don't think I have an issue with slow burn. I don't regret seeing "Presence", because I love how Sodebergh always plays around with the form, but this was a real miss. Ironically, his previous collaboration with Koepp, with "Kimi", was much more enjoyable and cinematic , and that one was straight to HBO.
