Eat before run 👍 start small 👍 increase by 10% 👍 pace 👍 run on hills 👍 running on hill burn extra cals 👍 take breaks 👍 increase your intensity 👍 intervals 👍 watch your diet 👍 spot on Brian 👍 this was definitely helpful because i made these mistakes eg: burn out & swelling of my had ankle ended up at the doctor's 👍 i definitely love this channel so much 🏃‍♀️ Brian so grateful too have you on KZbin and thanku so much . I need to drop weight for a competition kickboxing competition just I'm 46 kg need to get to 40kg i might take you up on your offer i know I'm definitely not over weight but this is how a competition goes as ranking 👍 i have time but sooner better then later i guess ....my coach is a idiot what me to starve to death like a movie star I'm pritty tall 🙄🏃‍♀️ thanks again Brian xx

Yeah. I always run on an empty stomach so when I eat afterward, my body will just soak up all the nutrients instead of storing it, but you have to eat lean to do that.

i have some tips before running you would want to eat something healthy like orange , banana , or an apple but before you start the running process wait 20-30 minutes to let it digest because when you go on that run right after eating you may puke or cause stomach cramps or it may go down from the other side where it causes you to have a accident on yourself do not let that happen another thing to help is to drink a bottle of water or have a jug where you can fill it up with water i see kids in my class have jugs of water with them they say they have to drink it to not cause cramps at practice drinking water can also loose belly fat if you have the right ammount - do not eat salty foods or junk foods after it will mess up your process only eat meat and vegetables or vegetables if vegetarian rice without salt and a good ammount of chicken can help burn off some calories every jogg you go on do this for 4-5 weeks you will start to see process i did this by running from and to the bus stop each morning and i seen that i have lost quite some pounds i was nearly 160 then on my trip to the doctor i weighed 144 and i could loook in the mirror and seen i actually did lost alot

Most ppl say run in a fasted state, but you say eat something before you run. I'm confused as to which approach is best.

Fasted training offers negligible benefits. Do whatever works for you

As long as there is insulin in the blood stream (which is the case when you eat), body cannot use fat stores to burn calories. High intensity exercise like running (unlike walking) uses carbs in the bloodstream. I think running on empty stomach is much better if you have fat stores. Obviously, you should not feel dizzy and faint. So don’t overdo running on fasted state. But the best thing is to walk fast on empty stomach everyday 30 minutes. I walked around 10k steps split into 3 times a week, morning walk is on a fasted state. On weekends, I ran or walked 17k steps (split into 3 times a day). In 3 months, I lost 2 kilos. That’s slow and healthy for me.
