How often would you recommend we go out and do market research? Once a quarter-at the beginning or end of the quarter? 😀

Excellent question. I think every 6 months is enough. Depending on what you're designing for, you may do it more often at first, for example- now's a great time to look at what's happening with fall/halloween trends, and next month you can dig into Christmas if you do holiday art.

Hey just so you know, the mini course sign up on Hollei’s website doesn’t redirect to the mini course when I enter my information. Not sure if anyone else has had trouble.

Love these interviews! Around 21:50-what are “graphic treatments?”

Hollei has some examples of images in this post: holleiannedesignco.com/blog/3-reasons-why-a-product-style-guide-is-your-secret-weapon-for-a-collection-that-sells, but essentially it would be like a stand alone illustration, but not JUST one single icon, more of fleshed out concept that might also include type and multiple images- like the "America the Beautiful" and "Land that I Love" graphics you're seeing on that blog post.
