Man you just said what I have been saying about Foghat for years -"so much more than Slow Ride".I also loved them the 1st time I heard them and I think that was around 1972. I was lucky enough to see them right after they put out their 2nd album---known as the "rock and roll" album (because of the picture of a rock and a roll on the front cover of the album). In fact their 1st two albums are still my favorite followed by Rock and Roll Outlaws.......

@@tefenstratDetroit was a much more influential R&R city than Cleveland, and tried to get it here instead. We had bumper stickers, and everything. We know what is rock, and what is pop, and Cleveland doesn't know the difference. Boston is another city that has a bigger Rock presence than Cleveland, and would also have been more appropriate.

Man there sure was a period there where there were just one kick ass concert after another and another one on for about four years at the Armory. Back in the good ole days when we didn’t have a lot of money but it didn’t cost a small fortune to go to a concert either. It’s amazing that I saw this because I was trying to look up about old concerts in Rockford, IL and I came upon a thing that had the history of the Rockford Armory. I read the whole thing. We grew up when the times for rock music was at its peak I do believe. Don’t think we will ever see anything like it again. Rock On Brother! Turtle.
