I've never fully undersood foliar feeding, until now! Thanks for showing us, I learned a lot here.

the reason you do it in the morning and night under 72 degrees is not because it will stress the plant its because the stomata will close outside of those parameters and nothing will absorb.

Would you spray more regularly for new plants? I have planted up three large beds with a mix of plants and trees. Was planning on foliar spraying every week.

Hey, I made some manure tea with an air bubbler. I used a 1 gallon jar, filled it half way with moo-poo (steer manure lol!!!) and topped it off with water. I bubbled it for just over 48 hours. I got about .5 gallons of concentrated tea that I poured into a gallon of water. At 1.5 gallons it still looks really dark. I'm assuming at this strength less is more? Any tips would be appreciated

Sounds good to me. How has it worked out?

Hi. I have a question and I'll make it quick. Is it safe to spray when plants are in bloom, or the fruits.
@glenfredrickson28813 жыл бұрын
You would get better absorption of nutrients if you used collected rain water. Granted if you test your water source to make as sure it is below 150 TDS you will probably be ok. Oh and a water softner will only replace the calcium bicarbonates with salt ions so to get the best water you would need to us an RO system after a water softner if your water is hard. Good luck and good video!

When foliar feeding does PH no longer matter like it does with the soil and root system?

Dan, what do you have attached to the inlet hose? Is it some kind of filtering device to prevent debris from getting sucked into the pump?
@whitejor00004 жыл бұрын
Yup, that is a filter that screws onto the inlet hose. Alot of Transfer pumps include one with the pump.
