Great video and detailed explanation! After heavy weight training, I did this routine and felt so effective to stretch my hip muscles. Will keep doing the routine to one day do spilt!

Great video. Thank you! For someone who is not close to doing splits at all (not me I swear) is there a good alternative for the last few sections of the routine that you would recommend to help with progress? my instinct tells me to just substitute the runners lunges as best as possible, but wanted to get your thoughts.

i would just do them to the best of my ability without pushing myself too hard. if that’s too hard then you can use yoga blocks or any elevated surface to put your hands on to support you

this routine should definitely help you. it may take longer for some people but that’s okay! you just have to be consistent and don’t give up. also make sure you’re actually doing the right stretches!

I love your tutorial and your humour!😁 Flexibility has always been my weakest point, but I NEED to be more flexible! So, challenge accepted, see you in 7 days! I hope I'll be able to do splits one day!!! For future videos it would be helpful if you gave more of a time indicator so we don't have to stare at the screen the whole time while contorting on the floor haha

I'm glad you enjoyed my routine! Also thanks for the feedback! Can you just explain exactly what you mean when you say "more of a time indicator?" How would you want me to do that?

@@zzaviier Thanks for answering 😄I know you built in a "beep" after 30 seconds, but it was a bit quiet in comparison to the music, so maybe you could tone the music down around the 30 seconds mark? ☺ And maybe you could say something like "only 15 seconds left!" or "half time done!" 😁 or the typical "trainer countdown": "5...4..3..2..1...1...1..1...1...1...finish!" 😂 Thank you for taking the suggestions into consideration 🥰 I love your video style, it's so lighthearted and positive 🤩

@@zzaviier Yo thanks for answering 😁 Maybe you could turn the music down around the 30 seconds mark, so that the "beep" is a bit louder? And a half-time-indicator would be great, something like "only 15 seconds left!" or the typical "5..4..3..2..1..1..1..1..1.. finish!" 😁

@@zzaviier For some reason I can't answer, YT doesn't save my comment so I'll try again 🥲 I think it would be helpful if you toned down the music around the 30 seconds mark, so that it is easier to hear the "beep". And maybe you could give a half-time indicator, or a motivating "5..4..3..2..1..1..1..1..1.." 😆

@@zzaviiermaybe do a voiceover and countdown starting at 10 or 5 seconds. I think is what they mean.
